Chief Executive Officer Bobbi Wolff is a longtime entrepreneur and manager who oversees the business affairs, strategic development and leadership of Alaris Companies, LLC. Prior to founding Alaris in 2005, Ms. Wolff served as the Senior Manager of Government Contracts with a ship management firm. There, she developed and implemented all aspects of business and administrative functions for ship management and manning contracts. Her client base included the Military Sealift Command (MSC), Maritime Administration (MARAD) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Executive Vice President (Captain) Saunders A. Jones is a 40-year-veteran of the maritime industry. Highly regarded throughout the industry for his leadership and innovation, Captain Jones has experienced the entire gamut of sea-going operations, from service as a deck officer and Master on U.S. Flag vessels of all types to fleet manager for both U.S. and foreign flag liners. Prior to his arrival at Alaris Companies, he was a founding partner of the Patriot Group, where he developed and managed far-reaching charter arrangements that became the industry standard for foreign ownership of U.S. government-subsidized Merchant Marine liner fleets. As EVP of Alaris Companies, Captain Jones is responsible for the management and quality assurance of all port and vessel operations. He is a member of SNAME, ABS North America, Council of American Master Mariners (CAMMS), Past President San Francisco Marine Exchange, and Governor-appointed Member of The Board of Pilot Commissioners for San Francisco Bay, in addition to many other designations.
Executive Vice President of Engineering Michael Gaffney is a 20-year veteran of the maritime industry who holds a Chief Engineers License and a designation from the Association of Energy Engineers as a Certified Energy Manager (C.E.M). He has served as Technical Fleet Manager for Military Sealift Commands' LMSR program and as Chief Engineer and Technical Superintendent on U.S. government and commercial vessels. Equally proficient in both U.S. government and commercial venues, he oversees all engineering services for Alaris Companies. Mr. Gaffney is a 1986 graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and an active member of the marine engineering professional community.
Alaris Advisory Committee Chairman Robert E. Kramek, Admiral United States Coast Guard (ret.), was President and Chief Operating Officer of American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) from 1998 until his retirement in 2006. He was a Commandant of the United States Coast Guard, from where he retired as a Four Star Admiral. Admiral Kramek graduated with honors from the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Academy with a B.S. in engineering in 1961 and attended postgraduate school at the University of Michigan, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Alaska. He holds Master of Science degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management. He is a Fellow and current President of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME), a member of the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), the U.S. Navy League, and the Reserve Officers Association, as well as several educational, foundation and governmental advisory boards. Admiral Kramek provides advice and counsel to Alaris's executive management team on all business and technical matters.
